- ★ ★ ★ ★ ★I have nothing but good things to say about this credit union. They have always been helpful every time that I have interacted with them. They are often times more flexible than they need to be. The 2 times that I have overdrawn my account they haven't even charged me an overdraft fee as long as I put money in my account quickly. I feel like most other banks just watch your account hoping you will overdraft so they can charge you a fee. I don't think the other review on here is accurate at all. Sometimes people in this area have very bad attitudes and I feel like she was blaming her bad day on anyone that she could. Even if they did what she stated, from my experience they would have been more than happy to make the situation right. And as far as the life insurance being taken out of her account without her knowledge I feel like she should do a fraud alert on her credit report because that doesn't sound like Afena's fault that that happened. The only downside to Afena is that they don't support financial tools like Mint or Quicken. If they would change that then they would be the perfect place to do your banking.By Nick Connors, July 01, 2017
